Girl Who Framed Father For Rape Appeals For Help To Sit KCSE Exams
Dorcas Mwende Wambua, the girl who made national headlines for framing her father Julius Wambua for alleged rape, is calling on wellwishers to help her continue with her education.
Speaking to
Kenyans.co.ke, the 24-year-old mother of one said she stopped going to school after her father was sentenced to life in prison in 2010.
“I registered for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) this year (2021) and I am not prepared at all. I have gone through a lot since this whole saga began. My education was halted after my father was sent to prison.

A man who has been serving a life imprisonment sentence after he was convicted of incest eight years ago has been set free by the High Court after new evidence emerged exonerating him.
In a landmark judgment delivered by Justice George Odunga in Machakos on Wednesday, Julius Wambua Musyoki was allowed to walk to his freedom after the court quashed the jail sentence meted on him on January 24, 2012, by a principal magistrate’s court in Kithimani.
