he wasn t too tall. i m 5 2 . did he say anything. he did not say anything to us at all. when you saw him at the back door were you like what are you doing? yes, thomas one of my coworkers he came to the door and looked his sefl self because he didn t like it. didn t sound good for him to be sitting at the door like that opening it. thomas or you brittany nobody said what are you doing sitting here with a backpack what are you doing? no. i m glad i didn t because that may be me laying on the concrete somewhere. what you said was he approached at 9:00 at this door this morning but you don t open until later, i guess, and he just stayed there? yes. the back of our store is like this grassy bank that leads behind our store a restaurant as well as the movie theater. so this guy with a couple backpacks sits back there for at
least an hour. do you know if it was any longer than that? did you see him doing anything else? no i didn t see him doing anything else just sitting there behind us. like i said i was on the computer training when he had tried to open the door. he opened it. far be it from me to be telling anybody anything but one of the things we say is see something, say something. from the time he opened my door thomas looked out, he was there. before i finished my training that s when all the commotion happened. it kind of was a fast thing that happened. like i said an hour but brittany hang on just a second. local reporter is on the scene. it was a very scary moment. reporter: when you say you heard shots, they were it was a lot. a lot of shots. it was coming from there side of the theater. reporter: one of the questions i had coming out here, how are the people doing inside the theater?
