The risk management pool for Maine's counties paid $415,000 in legal fees and a $385,000 settlement to Brian Dunnigan over his allegations that York County Jail officers broke several of his ribs and left scars on his chest with a Taser.
Brian Dunnigan, 63, filed a civil lawsuit against several corrections officers and the sheriff, alleging they violated his constitutional rights by subjecting him to excessive use of force after his 2018 arrest.
