Qatar Indian Thawheed Centre organises blood donation campaign

Doha: Qatar Indian Thawheed Centre (QITC), an Indian expatriates organisation, held its 34th Blood Donation Campaign at HMC Blood Donor Unit in association with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) recently.
Over 150 members of QITC joined the blood donation campaign and donated bloods, said a statement. In recent years, a number of blood donation camps were held at the headquarters of Qatar Indian Thawheed Centre in Al Thumama but this year it was organised at HMC Blood Donor Unit because of COVID-19 pandemic.
Blood donation contributed in promoting the values of giving and mercy as well as raising awareness of the benefits related to blood donation for donor and its importance in saving people’s live,” said General Secretary, Qatar Indian Thawheed Centre, Mohamed Ali Mohamed Ibrahim.
