Gintarė Korsakaitė has informed ESC Portugal that she will not be competing in Pabandom iš Naujo! 2021.
Gintarė Korsakaitė will not be among the twenty three acts competing in the Lithuanian selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The singer informed ESC Portugal that she had in fact withdrawn her intention to compete in Pabandom iš Naujo! 2021 before the LRT announcement of this years competing acts. She explained:
I was going to participate but then I canceled the application. However, the information will not have arrived in time and the article was launched.
LRT has yet to confirm that Gintarė will not be competing in Pabandom iš Naujo! or whether a different act will get her place in the selection instead.

Lithuania: The Roops Lead Singer Thinks They Can Win Pabandom iš naujo Again
The lead singer of The Roop, Vaidotas Valiukevičius, is confident that the group can win Pabandom iš naujo 2021 and represent Lithuania at Eurovision in 2021.
Speaking to the Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT, Vaidotas Valiukevičius, has spoken about The Roops attempt to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. He explained why the group decided to compete in Pabandom iš naujo 2021:
We decided to participate, because we do not give up the feeling that this trip is not over yet. We were elected, chosen, but we could not go out and represent our country.
