Silver Star Smokehouse and Saloon is now open for business with limited hours. There is still some roof work repairs that is ongoing so that s the reason we re not open for lunch just yet but we re open for dinner at 4 p.m. said, Silver Star Manager Donnie Spriggs. July 12th, is looking like the date we go back to regular hours.
The restaurant has been closed since February 13, when 26 pipes burst during the snowstorm causing the restaurant to close. That s when a decision was made that the restaurant would get a total renovation or makeover from the exterior to the interior. The roof is all new including many of the light fixtures, walls, decor, bar area, restrooms, and the Longhorn banquet room, all with a new color scheme that really gives the feel of a Texas ranch. The balcony is now gone and it really opens up the high ceilings even more.
