The rather amusing piece from the NYT via Redstate saying that the GOP risks losing 100 prominent republicans over Trump and start their own party is great fodder for the Time’s readership that wouldn’t know a conservative if it bit them.
The problem for these brave intrepid rebels is that they’re caught between two fires.
If there goal is to be the next Lincoln project and make a bundle for themselves and their family then it’s easy. They can form a party, they can get financed by the left and they can make proclamation that will get some coverage but unfortunately will not be all that newsworthy because they will in fact be a party with no actual voter base, no candidates running anywhere and no people actually bein led.

Church Again Insists Catholic Nuns be…..Catholic
The media is shocked SHOCKED that the Catholic Church under Pope Francis still expects American Nuns to act, well, Catholic:
“The Holy See believes that the charismatic vitality of religious life can only flourish within the ecclesial faith of the church,” Cardinal Gerhard Mueller, head of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, told four members of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.
This has been a problem for some time, over a decade and if American Catholic nuns didn’t understand it was a problem when they were put under a Bishop in 2012 and that decision was confirmed by Pope Francis last year Cardinal Mueller is not leaving any room for doubt where this stands:

Terrance J. Quinn
Terrance John Quinn, 76, passed away May 4, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was a resident of Merrimack, New Hampshire and Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
Terry was born Nov. 28, 1944 in Naugatuck, Connecticut to Marion and John Quinn. He married his love, Donna Quinn Nov. 29, 1969.
Terry s passion was his family. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandpa. More than anything he treasured and embraced time with his family. He had a talent for always making those around him laugh especially during “happy hour,” his favorite time of the day. He was a longtime volunteer football coach for the Merrimack Cardinals throughout the 1980s and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and dance performances. He also loved helping out his friends by mowing lawns and doing odd jobs for his friends and neighbors in Boothbay Harbor.
