Gov. Cuomo announced this week what he calls a major reopening of New York state.
Starting May 19, the state will lift most capacity restrictions. However, businesses are still required to maintain social distancing rules, so some say it won t make a difference.
Some restaurants have already started holding special “vaccinated people only” nights for business.
The Palisades Hotel in Rome, New York is one of them.
NewsChannel 13 wanted to learn if this is also being considered in the Capital Region.

The catch here is that six feet requirement with restaurants, saying if schools and stadiums and theaters don t have to follow it, why do they?
