A HAMPER scheme from a school partnership is helping families in the city throughout the festive period. Happy Hampers was set-up by Newtown Primary School and First Steps Day Nursery to help families whose income has been hit by Covid. The hope is that the weekly hampers will help families to cut shopping bills and make the Christmas season more festive.
