When the Purdums arrived back in town with their new vehicle, they found guests from Idaho had arrived a couple of days earlier than expected. The two ladies, Lois Clark and Donna Clark have been sisters-in-law and widows for several years. The Purdums knew Lois from their days in Idaho and stayed in touch over the years. Lois and Donna were on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. They had traveled 4,000 miles by the time they arrived in Stockton and would travel much further by the time they returned home. Planning for the journey started in January when Lois asked Harry to develop a trip guide for her. The trip had started from Spokane, Wash., to an island of Wisconsin (in Lake Michigan), then to Buffalo and Branson, Mo., before making their way to Stockton. En route back home, the ladies will make stops in Texas, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City before returning to Idaho.
