Holiday spirit at a Dunkin Donuts in Summit goes well beyond the seasonal “Cheers” cup design or peppermint mocha-flavored coffee.
On Thursday, a veteran barista at the Morris Avenue store was handed a check for $1,600 raised through a GoFundMe campaign, after she hung a note asking if anyone had found a pouch containing $800. It was money meant to help pay for her son’s car, which she had lost as she left the store two days before Thanksgiving, on the way to her second job.
