More than a penny will be spent when a villageâs toilets will be getting a makeover later in the year.
Donington parish councillors have been calling for the toilets in the village centre to be improved with the hopes of taking them over for the benefit of residents and visitors.
At last weekâs virtual meeting, South Holland district councillor Rodney Grocock told members that the toilets will be refurbished after making inquiries with a senior officer.

He said: âAfter the May elections they are planning to do a huge piece of work on all toilets in South Holland. One is going to be Ayscoughfee, and Donington toilets are going to be totally refurbished.
