Former US President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 charges stemming from hush-money payments made during the 2016 campaign to bury allegations that he had extramarital sexual encounters.
Donald Trump has finally returned to Facebook and YouTube after a more than two-year ban. The restrictions were imposed in the wake of the January 6 insurrection, when Trump’s supporters violently stormed the US Capitol in a bid to halt the peaceful transition of power.
Trump's claim that a diligent search had failed to uncover relevant documents in his possession, prejudicially violated the lawful and clear mandate of the court, the state appeals court said.
The restoration comes as Trump, who is facing criminal probes by the Justice Department, seeks another run for the White House in 2024. Facebook and Instagram have been key platforms for online political outreach and fundraising.
