Donald Ramsay Andrews passed away peacefully in his 90th year on February 21, 2021 after a brief hospitalization. He was born in Fort William October 6, 1931 to Margaret and Geoffrey Andrews. He is survived by his wife Anne (Roseview Manor), his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Frank Carlisle, and his adored granddaughters Meghan Cote and her husband Tom, and Erin Carlisle all of Barrie, Ontario. He was predeceased by his son David in 1998.
He enjoyed growing up in Fort William, joined Army Cadets and learned how to ski at Mt. McKay. In November 1950 he started working as an engineer at the Great Lakes Paper Co. In 1953 he moved to the Provincial Paper Mill. On June 10, 1961 he married Anne MacIntosh in Toronto and they bought a home in Green Acres that he continued to live in until the end.
