Officials say the teen was also charged for involvement in a shooting that happened in Winston-Salem on Saturday night.Another juvenile was also charged in the Winston-Salem shooting at the On Your Way Mart.Winston-Salem police say investigators determined the victim, 35-year-old Donald Lowery, Jr., and one of the juveniles knew each other and that this was not a random crime.Both juveniles are in custody. The juvenile involved in the kidnapping was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and first-degree kidnapping.
