BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat) is studying seven possible routes for a highway that will link resort island Koh Samui to the mainland of Surat Thani, a coastal province in the Gulf of Thailand.
Two people are dead and seven are missing after a freak storm left a trail of destruction in the sea off Nakhon Si Thammarat province on Sunday (April 16).
SURAT THANI: A ferry on the route between Koh Samui and mainland Surat Thani sank at Don Sak pier after passengers and vehicles had left the vessel. No one was injured, according to the Interior Ministry.
