After Boston Chabad rabbi stabbed, Jewish community ‘angry’ and ‘united’
(July 2, 2021 / JNS) Hundreds of people attended a unity rally in Boston on Friday morning to show their solidarity with the Jewish community one day after a Chabad rabbi was stabbed outside a Jewish day school.
Rabbi Shlomo Noginski was sitting on the steps outside the Shaloh House, which was in use as a summer camp, when 24-year-old Khaled Awad allegedly came over with a gun in hand and asked the rabbi to lead him to his car. When they reached the car, Noginski ran, but not before being stabbed eight times. Noginski was treated at a local hospital.

Chabad Rabbi Stabbed Near Boston Jewish Day School
According to Chabad’s website, the suspect pulled a firearm on the rabbi, Shlomo Noginski, in front of Shaloh House Jewish Day school in Brighton, Mass. Noginski attempted to flee to the park across the street, prompting the suspect to stab Noginski multiple times.

A Chabad rabbi was stabbed multiple times near a Jewish day school in the Boston area on July 1.
According to Chabad’s website, the suspect pulled a firearm on the rabbi, Shlomo Noginski, in front of Shaloh House Jewish Day school in Brighton, Mass. Noginski attempted to flee to the park across the street, prompting the suspect to stab Noginski multiple times. The suspect was subsequently arrested, and Noginski is currently in stable condition at the hospital with multiple stab wounds in his arm.

A rabbi was stabbed outside of the Shaloh House Chabad Center in Brighton, as confirmed by the Anti-Defamation League of New England.
The victim, identified by the organization as Rabbi Shlomo Noginski, is said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Boston police said in a press release.
Police have since identified Khaled Awad, 24, of Brighton as the suspect in the stabbing. He’s being charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a police officer, police said. His arraignment is set to take place in Brighton District Court.

An Orthodox rabbi was stabbed multiple times in broad daylight outside of a Boston-area synagogue on Thursday, according to reports.
Shlomo Noginski was repeatedly stabbed today outside of the Shaloh House Jewish Day School in Brighton, Mass. Noginski serves as a rabbi and teacher at Shaloh House, a Chabad institution serving the Boston-area’s Russian Jewish community, and their summer day camp was in session. […] Noginski was sitting on the front steps of the Shaloh House on his cell phone. The suspect approached him, drew a gun and asked Noginski to take him to his car. When the suspect attempted to force Noginski into the car, the rabbi tried running across the street to a small park called Brighton Common, where the suspect stabbed Noginski multiple times in the arm. As the rabbi tried to fend off the attacker he raised a commotion, finally causing the suspect to flee.
