Caused a singleengine plane to crash near pender, nebraska sunday night, killing the pilot. Officials with the National Transportation safety board arrived at the scene in a snowcovered farm field on tuesday. The plane had left columbia, missouri and was due to arrive at sioux Gateway Airport around seven pm sunday. It was diverted to wayne because of unfavorable weather, but it never arrived in wayne. Though the investigation could take up to a year, a preliminary report of the Investigation Findings will be issued in about a week. Weather adlib itll be a messy next few days weather wise in that well see any and all types of precipitation at some point.
