Fairhaven Election Sees Incumbents Returned in All But One Race
FAIRHAVEN The unofficial results are in from Monday’s town election in Fairhaven, with incumbents being re-elected in all contested races but one.
The only challenger to come away with a victory was Don Carlos Callasius, who edged out incumbent tree warden G. Bourne Knowles IV in one of the tightest races on the ballot, winning by an unofficial 36 votes, 1,066 to 1,030.
Incumbent selectman Robert Espindola handily won re-election over challenger Lisa Plante, 1,766 to 491, for another three-year term.
Kevin Gallagher defeated Barbara Acksen, 1,602-558, to win an open three-year seat on the Board of Health.
