With educational institutions shut in West Bengal due to coronavirus-induced lockdown, a private school in the capital Kolkata has decided to convert one of its sections into a Covid care facility.
The Don Bosco School in Kolkata s Park Circus area on May 22 opened its doors to the Covid-19 patients by setting up a 30-bed round-the-clock facility.
Speaking to India Today, Father Bikash Mondal, Principal and Rector of Don Bosco School, stated it was the need of the hour to help patients who were not able to find beds in hospitals.
