Doden, who lives in Fort Wayne, served as president of the IEDC under former Gov. Mike Pence from 2013 to 2015 where, according to a release from his campaign, he spearheaded the Regional Cities initiative. I believe firmly that we can restore and grow our Indiana Main Streets, enable success for both students and educators in our school system, improve our broken healthcare system, and create 21st century economic opportunities for Hoosier families, Doden said in a statement. To do so, we need to elect leaders who have the experience, vision and courage to get results.

Eric Doden cited his passion for restoring and growing Indiana Main Streets today when he announced he s seeking the Republican nomination for governor in 2024.
Doden, who has described himself as a turnaround guy, is a principal investor in local private equity firm Domo Development. He s also the former CEO of both Greater Fort Wayne Inc. and the Indiana Economic Development Corp. I have spent the last decade focused on tackling Indiana s greatest challenges and implementing conservative solutions that get real results for the people of Indiana, he said in a statement.
