Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hosemann and House Speaker Philip Gunn presented the former state flag to the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH). Last year, Governor Tate Reeves signed a bill to remove the flag, which featured the Confederate battle emblem.
