Ivy Hall opened Friday morning at 996 Waukegan Road near the Fountain Square shopping center with a complement of workers selling not only cannabis products and accessories, but clothing and giftware.
The inside of the former Culver s in Crystal Lake has been transformed with bright colors, a flower wall, tote bags saying "buy weed from women," psychedelic glass smokers, edibles and a retro gas station pump. The new business, Ivy Hall Crystal Lake, is pitched as a "sensory dispensary" on its website with staff describing its atmostpher as like a "ski lodge" or "speakeasy."
