The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the officers as: Grant Breems, a 27-year law enforcement veteran who s been with the Blaine Police Department for the past four years. Tim Evens, a 23-year law enforcement veteran who s been with the Blaine Police Department for the past 15 years. Jake Sorteberg, an eight-year veteran of the Anoka Police Department. Sorteberg didn t fire his weapon but deployed K-9 Bravo, who was released from the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center on Monday.
