WELCH — Drone flights allegedly carrying drugs into a federal prison sparked an investigation leading to multiple arrests and multiple drug charges, the McDowell County Sheriff s Office announced Friday.
11 people were arrested and one suspect was found dead after an investigation was done into suspicious drone activity happening at the Federal Correctional Institute-McDowell (FCI McDowell).
