Rising River Brewing, at 1955 Willow Lane in the East Texas section of Lower Macungie Township, offers Adirondack chairs, fire pits and even a swing in a tranquil setting that includes abundant grass, shrubs and trees along the Little Lehigh Creek. The brewery is operating via a tent in the property's parking lot until renovations on the taproom – housed in a 120-year-old barn – are complete in the next couple of months.
Bethlehem launches first-ever Retail Week for merchants struggling amid pandemic

Bethlehem is launching its first-ever Retail Week next week in an effort to help area small business owners struggling financially amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The event, hosted by the The Downtown Bethlehem Association, will run Feb. 6 to Feb. 13 with several downtown retailers participating along mostly Broad and Main streets. Businesses plan to offer exclusive discounts and host contests in an attempt to draw in more foot traffic while adhering to state capacity guidelines set forth by Gov. Tom Wolf.
Currently, maximum capacity indoors is at 10% for 0 – 2,000 people; and at 5% for 2,001 – 10,000 people; with nothing allowed for more than 10,000 people.
