BURNSVILLE, Minn. The Burnsville Police Department says a woman with Alzheimer s reported as missing Wednesday has been found safe.
According to a post on the department s Twitter account, the woman was considered missing after her family notified them the 80-year-old was gone, along with her white Honda CRV.
She has Alzheimers, and both family and authorities were concerned for her welfare.
But early Thursday Burnsville police tweeted that the woman had been located, was safe, and would soon be reunited with family members.
The department also thanked members of the public for assistance with the case.
