irrespective, everybody knows it s built in. why? one of the reasons is 70% of the gm s revenues now come from outside the united states and they ve got to compete against other manufacturers that have very similar type of tax benefits, not so much on the tarp, but other tack benefits that allows them to have a much lower tax rate. so this was done to probably ensure that the gm might have a little kick start. as a shareholder, i say hallelujah. i don t want to own gm, that s the only problem. but you do, baby. it s not a perfect world. brenda: and jonas, these tax benefits usually are not allowed for companies that had a big change in ownership which of course gm has. well, the government. if it gets acquired by another public company you can theoretically lose the tax breaks, they learn by making crappy cars year after year, they didn t just it s the american way. and i ll say to toby s point we are going to get a little more money because gm as an ipo is worth more mone
