Stephanie Keranen, general manager at Dogs Paw, delivers a $1,308 donation to Mary Aho at the Headwaters Animal Shelter. Keranen explained that, in November, Dogs Paw held a donation drive to benefit the shelter and agreed to match up to $500. “People were very generous,” she said. Aho said the funds will go toward the Spay and Neuter Initiative Program (SNIP), which offers vouchers to income-qualified pet owners. “It’s the community donating back to the community,” she said.
