Join non-profit NeighborImpact on Sunday, April 24, from 3-6 p.m. for the annual pub-crawl-meets-progressive-dinner event. At this celebration of local food and drink, guests sample small plates and beverage pairings from a select group of chefs and restaurants in downtown Bend, all for a good cause. St. Charles Prineville is closing its COVID-19 drive-through test site on Thursday, March 31. After that time, tests will be available at the St. Charles Prineville Urgent Care on a walk-in basis, or by appointment at St. Charles Prineville Family Care. St. Charles' labs in Bend, La Pine, Madras and Redmond also offer COVID-19 testing, but a lab order is required. COVID-19 testing is only available to those individuals who are symptomatic or who are scheduled for a procedure.
The first project of the voter-approved 2020 Transportation General Obligation (GO) Bond started earlier this month. The Wilson Avenue Corridor is a multi-phased modernization project that will improve safety and east-west connectivity for all users on Wilson Avenue between Second Street and 15th Street. As part of the project, the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Ninth Street will be closed for roundabout construction through late May. Learn more about the Wilson Avenue Corridor Project.
