The security forces on Saturday killed two terrorists including a commander during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on a terrorist hideout in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa s (K-P) North Waziristan district, a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The military s media wing said that terrorist commander Rehmat alias Khalid was an improvised explosive device (IED) expert and remained involved in different terrorist activities against security forces, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and target killing since 2009 in Malik Khel area.

Security forces on Tuesday killed three terrorists, from the Aleem Khan Khushali group, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa s North Waziristan district, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
“These terrorists were involved in target killing, kidnapping for ransom, extortion, fire raid on security forces and improvised explosive device (IED) explosions,” the military’s media wing added. “Sanitisation of the area was carried out.”
On February 4, security forces killed four terrorists during an operation in North Waziristan.

At least three terrorists were killed on Monday when security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) to thwart an infiltration attempt close to the Pak-Afghan border in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa s Lower Dir district, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The terrorists were identified as Abid and Yousuf Khan from Swat valley and Abdul Sattar from Mardan.
The military s media wing said that a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and grenades were also recovered.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists were involved in several target killing incidents in Swat in 2019.
