confronted after the actions of the obama administration and how much that fueled the anger and why we saw the president emphasize over and over again this is different than 2008 and emphasizing that taxpayers are not on the hook for this. there s a difference between saving and helping out an innocent depositors that happen to put the money into this institution. whether the average person will understand and recognize that distinction i think is an open question and obviously politically speaking doesn t stop republicans. here s the view from the average american. seems like the rich people screw
speaker, who tweeted here we go again. an abuse of power of a political d.c. i m directing committees to investigate if funds are being used with politically motivated investigations. few people have more to owe to president trump than kevin mccarthy but it seems to me that this is the trial run to rally the base under a trump. i think so. even republicans that don t want to rally around trump are going to find that republican voters with a variety of views about trump think this is an abusive prosecution. if the georgia case is where the indictment was, trump would say the same things. but i think he find more pickup
right? as you were saying, it has become very much this catch-all pejorative term that conservatives in particular like to use. and particularly when there s even just like a whiff of an issue having to do with race or gender or sexual orientation, inclusivity, diversity issues, republicans in particular have been using the term to go after liberals and democrats, whenever they feel like there s a situation where they re sort of trying to meddle in your personal life. they re trying to teach our children this or make our children eat this at schools. so, yeah, it is definitely going to be a hugely defining sort of tool that republicans use heading into 2024. my curiosity will be, as we go towards 2024, once this gets beyond the republican primary, what do real people who are living their lives think about this? are they waking up in the morning and thinking, wow, my kids school is too woke?
clumsy. nikki haley really jumped on that releasing a statement saying president trump is right saying governor desantis is copying him. now on ukraine. i have a different style than president trump and i do not agree on this policy. republicans deserve a choice, not an echo. this is ron desantis himself back in 2015. we in the congress have been urging the president to provide arms to ukraine. they want to fight their good fight. not asking us to fight it for them. the president has refused. i think that that s a mistake. so is this just like a good old-fashioned flip flop? that s definitely a pivot.
