More Iowa Hy-Vee Locations are Offering COVID Antibody Tests

According to a new article from KCRG, as of yesterday, 125 Hy-Vee pharmacy locations across the state are now offering COVID-19 rapid antibody tests to customers. The article says that the rapid antibody test is available for patients who want to learn if they have been previously infected with COVID-19 in the past and are not currently experiencing symptoms. The test will NOT be able to detect a current COVID-19 infection. The rapid antibody test is very simple. Hy-Vee announced on Wednesday that they will offer rapid antigen COVID-19 testing at more than 40 Hy-Vee pharmacy locations throughout the Midwest. This testing will be done via an outdoor, drive-thru testing process at 47 Hy-Vee pharmacies. The first 18 locations will begin testing today, Thursday, December 10. The remaining 29 locations will begin testing over the next two weeks. Patients will receive same day test results in as little as 1-2 hours after completing the test.
