A Riverview woman says she has complaints and concerns about the way medical records are being handled when doctors close their practices without having another doctor to take over.
It's bad enough to learn you're losing your family doctor, says one Nova Scotia woman, but being asked to pay hundreds of dollars to access years of medical records adds insult to injury.
Cornelia Schneider estimates it will cost her family $350 to obtain their medical records. She said she is also concerned about her private information being held 'hostage.'
