Marvel Comics & Way Of X #1 Spoilers & Review: Nightcrawler Leads His Own Team Book Or Sets Up A New Mutant Religion Or Something Else?!

Nightcrawler Leads His Own Team Book Or Sets Up A New Mutant Religion Or Something Else?! The book has a few more variant covers in addition to the above. Plus the main cover. This is a long debut issue with… …life, death and resurrection at its core… …the Crucible as its called. During that barbaric yet revered practice… …Nightcrawler encounters Doctor Nemesis to… …to temper the mutant religiosity with science as… …Magneto is the death dealer in the Crucible. Some context from a science POV from Doctor Nemesis on the Crucible… …followed by the resurrection courtesy of The Five. Professor X is supportive of Nightcrawler’s faith, but…

The Weekly Round-Up #594 With S W O R D #5, Rain Like Hammers #4, The Old Guard: Tales Through Time #1, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #9 & More Plus The Week In Music!

Best Comic of the Week: SWORD #5 – In the aftermath of the King in Black event, it’s time to resurrect the people who died fighting Knull on Krakoa.  Magneto has requested that Fabian Cortez be bumped up the queue, but largely, it seems, in order to humiliate him in front of the Quiet Council.  Cortez has never been an interesting or likeable character until Al Ewing got his hands on him, so I enjoyed this issue.  I also like the way Ewing is building on events that have happened in his Guardians of the Galaxy run (Snarkwar), and is quietly taking over his own corner of the Marvel Universe.  I believe he’s the best writer Marvel has right now, and put this book next to his Immortal Hulk.  Weirdly, five issues in, we are still only getting glimpses of what Abigail Brand is up to, and my interest is building.

Way Of X #1 Review: Predictable Old Song And Dance

Way Of X #1 Review: Predictable Old Song And Dance Posted on What becomes of a people when every foundation of their existence changes? This heady philosophical concern is the heart of Way Of X #1 s focus through the lens of the teleporting mutant Nightcrawler. As such, the moral and ideological consideration of a culture branching off from a larger, older one brushes against deeper ideas but ultimately pulls up before diving all the way in. Way Of X #1 Cover. Credit: Marvel Comics After hearing an odd late-night telepathic call from the arguable mutant leader Charles Xavier, Nightcrawler leads a team of young mutants on a recon mission, examining a hate group training camp. The cavalier behavior of the costumed crusaders in his charge shake him to his core and calls up questions of what happens after mutants upgraded morality and beat mortality.

The Way Of X-Men - Krakoan Mutants, Morality and Magneto (Spoilers)

Women Of Marvel #1 as well. In SWORD #5, we have the revival of Fabian Cortez by The Five, who is here to be mocked. Naked as a revived mutant always is… …it s less of a ceremonial moment of rebirth when you are suddenly placed in a council with your boss and someone actually called Peeper… Which might actually do something to distract from Fabian Cortez actual moral objection to an item of Krakoan lore. Kill No Human was one of the new laws of Krakoa, one of three enshrined in House Of X #6, though Nightcrawler was more concerned with the Make More Mutants line.
