Egyptian telemedicine startup Docspert Health secures funding round for geographical expansion

Docspert Health, a telemedicine startup with operations in the UK and Egypt, announced it has successfully closed Six-Figure USD investment in seed funding from Flat6Labs and a group of angel investors in the UK and USA. Docspert Health plans to use the investment to expand its services all across Egypt, and then the Arabian Gulf. Launched in February 2020 by a team of medical doctors, Docspert Health is the first telemedicine platform that connects patients in the Middle East and Africa with leading international medical experts online and through video conferencing, therefore removing the need, cost and effort of travel. The healthtech startup provides services in over 40 medical specialties through a network of more than 100 hand-picked leading international medical experts in the UK, USA, and Europe.

Docspert Health raises six-figure seed round Egypt-based telemedicine startup Docspert Health, has closed a six-figure seed funding round from Flat6Labs as well as a group of angel investors in the UK and the US. Launched in February 2020 by a team of medical doctors, Docspert Health is the first telemedicine platform that connects patients in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) with international medical experts through video chats. Through Docspert’s platform, patients are able to book video consultations with a specialist to ask for their medical opinion, or a multi-disciplinary opinion for complex medical issues, such as cancer. Patients are also assisted throughout their journey by a dedicated Arabic speaking case manager.
