A popular Hudson Valley business owner has been severely injured in a scooter accident in Hawaii.
Keavan Doc Rivers, of Poughkeepsie, was hit by two cars and dragged a long distance while riding a scooter in Hawaii on Friday.
Friends tell News 12 that he suffered a punctured lung, a broken neck, a broken back and 10 broken ribs.
Rivers is the owner of Doc Rivers Electric Tattoo in Poughkeepsie. However he s also known for his charity work in the Hudson Valley, purchasing and building bikes that he then donates to local kids in need.
