According to officials at the Brookings Institution, Buffalo is using a greater share of its federal pandemic relief funding for revenue replacement than many other big cities.
Members realized the spending plan, from the City's Office of Administration, Finance, Policy & Urban Affairs, could not be passed as is because of a technicality.
The Buffalo Common Council is expected to vote on a $560K bailout for Braymiller Market and shift $60M in rescue plan funds to cover revenue losses by the city.
