Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Five more people have tested positive for the new strain of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh Merrut, taking total cases of the strain in the district to nine, said District Magistrate K Balaji.
Last week, four people, who recently returned from the United Kingdom, had tested positive for the new Covid strain. Their samples were sent for testing to a laboratory in Delhi.
