If he would look up a scholarship and he was not qualified he would give it to me. He wouldnt be upset. We helped each other. We were in college. We were trying to get a so we could register for the next semester. We came up with creative stories every semester. [laughter] we get on a payment plan. We were real resourceful and did whatever it took to continue. It was tough. It was so tough that if a young person asked me today how would how did you do it . I couldnt you have to pray. You have to use the resources and tools and people around you. Go for it. Have faith its going work out. You have to let people see what youre trying to do and take the first step. It will come.
