Turkey sees highest daily COVID-19 rates in Europe and Middle East 12th April 2021 The Financial Timesreport on the power failure at the Natanz nuclear facility in Iran. The country’s top nuclear scientist, Ali Akbar Salehi, called the incident a “terrorist act” but did not say who was responsible. Reports from Israeli media suggested the Mossad played a central role in the power failure. Salehi told local media that “to thwart the goals of those who engineered this terrorist act, the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to seriously develop nuclear technology on the one hand and expand its efforts to lift the unjust sanctions on the other hand.”

Since the organisation was first founded in 1982, we have set up development programmes in more than 60 countries and responded to many emergencies. Today we have a budget of around 150 million euros, with 3500 employees worldwide.

Location: Erbil, Iraq Première Urgence Internationale (PUI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization. Our teams are committed to supporting civilian victims of marginalization and exclusion, or those hit by natural disasters, wars and economic collapse by answering their fundamental needs. Our aim is to provide emergency relief to uprooted people in order to help them recover their dignity and regain self-sufficiency. The association leads on average 200 projects a year in the following sectors of intervention: Food Security, Health, Nutrition, Construction and Rehabilitation of infrastructures, Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Economic Recovery. PUI is providing assistance to around 6 million people in 22 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and France.
