New Delhi, March 17 : The Classic Bagh Festival , an intimate festival set within the grounds of Sundar Nursery, Delhi, will be held on March 21.
Boasting of a line up comprising Smita Bellur, Jasleen Kaur Monga, Ustad Saeed Zafar Khan, and the Warsi Brothers, it is being presented by Jodhpur RIFF and the British Council, in association with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. The festival aims to support Indian artists and festival sector professionals impacted by Covid-19.

At the 33rd annual UMass Medical School tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, Feb. 2. Chancellor Michael F. Collins presented the 2021 Chancellor’s Award for Advancing Institutional Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion to Linda Long-Bellil, JD, PhD.

2021 Martin Luther King Jr. Semester of Service awardees will address local health needs
Student community service projects address health disparities, including some worsened by COVID-19

Four teams of UMass Medical School students have been awarded Martin Luther King Jr. Semester of Service Awards to implement community service programs. They will use the $500 awards to expand support for adult refugees from Burma; offset elders’ isolation during COVID; expand training for stopping life-threatening bleeding; and assist asylum seekers with trained medical interpreters for forensic evaluations.
UMMS students will accept their awards at an upcoming virtual Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance.
“We will be holding pre-boards in online mode. More so, since parents were reluctant to send kids to school for pre-boards,” said Divya Bhatia, Principal, Amity International School, Saket. The school has also opted for low-tech initiatives.
“Question papers will be uploaded on the assignment option of MS TEAMS. Three-and-a-half hours’ time slot will be provided which includes reading time, attempting the paper, and uploading. Students will download the question paper and attempt the exam by switching on the camera throughout the exam duration. Students will then scan the numbered sheets, prepare a single pdf doc using Microsoft LENS app or any other suitable app and upload the complete answer sheet in the respective MS TEAMS,” she said.
