Middletown senior wins $5K National Honor Society scholarship

The National Honor Society announced that Divita Taduvayi, a senior at MOT Charter High School from Middletown, has been selected as a finalist and winner of a $5,625 NHS Scholarship.
Taduvayi was chosen from nearly 10,000 applicants.
The NHS Scholarship program is supported by NHS’s parent organization, the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Taduvayi helped develop Feeding the Ville, a marketplace-style app for food insecurity alleviation, as part of the Food in Neighborhoods Coalition in Kentucky. She is currently the national Technology Director for Girls Go Digital, a student-led nonprofit for young women in STEM, in which she expanded the organization’s reach by redesigning their website, increasing their social media presence and using SEO to improve the site’s visibility.
