Medical startup sues former CFO, claims he drove up debt to mislead investors Courtesy of Certa Dose) Medical startup Certa Dose sued former CFO John Blood earlier this month, claiming he intentionally drove up company debt to allow COPIC Insurance to take control. It’s the latest in a series of legal complaints filed between Denver and New York dating back to 2019. Denver-based Certa Dose was founded by Dr. Caleb Hernandez, an EMS medical director in Fort Collins.
