The residents are apprehensive about the land allocated for the park as it is liable to be grabbed sooner or later. They said the more delay in commencing the development work the more the land is vulnerable to encroachment. “There are examples of diversion of storm water drains in the area. We urge the BBMP to commence the development of the park as early as possible. We badly needed a park as there is no park in the vicinity,’’ said Krishna Murthy, a resident of Basavanapura.
