I never knew that i would one day grow up and oversee the Free City College program at the department of children, youth, and their families, increasing access to Educational Opportunities for our Community Every day. In this role, i also monitoring the entire budget for the program. My passion for education started at a young age. I grew up in a lowincome household and have experienced firsthand the transformative nature of education both as a student and teacher. But over time, i realized how Education Systems failed our most vulnerable students. As a former legislative aide, i worked on legislation to ban the box on private college applications, making San Francisco the first city in the nation to do so. During this time of a Global Pandemic and a social movement to dismantle systemic racism, city College Needs a new voice and
I wanted to ask a question on that. Is that the one where they are resigning or quitting for septembers report that we read . Is that the same report . I think it is the report where they were talking about the discipline cases and the outcomes. Three out of four the outcomes [indiscernible] i want to know what we are doing about that. The pier 740 master plan which eventually led to historic core, it resulted in those buildings being rehabilitated and rfp that resulted in brookfield taking over the waterfront site as our partner on that location and the next slide, built on to that process in 2013. Our planning and Environment Group developed a crane cove park plan. You can see here its very similar to what ultimately has been delivered on site which is very exciting. And the kneass building was not addressed with use it might serve. Building 49 was. Its in the center of the slide. We opened it would be used for water recreation and bicycle parking on site so were not sure if we need additional as well as a site and next slide. Please.
