For more than two decades, Dann has served as an aide and analyst for politicians such as former U.S. Rep. Sam Farr and former Santa Cruz County 3rd District Supervisor Ryan Coonerty, among others.

The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors is sending a letter to big tech companies in Silicon Valley asking for financial contributions to pay for affordable housing.
Third District Supervisor Ryan Coonerty and Second District Supervisor Zach Friend brought the agenda item forward to explore additional funding. They recommended that Board Chair Bruce McPherson should send letters to Apple, Facebook and Google.
