Part of the Hall County School District s 10-year facilities plan, which was approved in August 2019, is the replacement of seven aging elementary schools with four brand new buildings.
Architects have been working on design and layout for the first school, and members of the Hall County Board of Education got a first look at a drawing at a work session this past week. Elementary school replacement number one is going to be on the Ramsey Road property along [Georgia] 365 and it will replace the current White Sulphur Elementary and Riverbend Elementary, said District Superintendent Will Schofield. The architects are getting close to [finalizing] the plans.we showed those to the board and they were very excited.
