Article content  I want to give out a huge thank you to our entire community. We really came together last week to ensure that we kept everyone in our community safe from the excruciating heat of the sun. Our town opened up our Community Center last week as a cooling center for people who needed a place with air conditioning. They were open from 1 pm to 9 pm and they had areas where you could play board games, cards, or read a book. I hope some people were able to catch up with a few friends while playing rummy or that someone simply came, sat down in a comfy chair, and indulged in a good read.
