SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday presided over a virtual meeting of the party’s provincial Committee members. The meeting lasted for five hours and was presided by Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah. Party Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah was also present.
The meeting was conducted virtually through video conferencing mode by Party Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani. SRINAGAR: National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar Monday met with scores of workers delegations who had called on him here at Party Head Quarters Nawa-e-Sabah, Srinagar.
NC spokesman in a statement said that the visiting delegations which called on the General Secretary had come from different segments of district Srinagar acquainted him about the ongoing political scenario in the district.
On the occasion Party’s District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmed, Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir, YNC President Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi and other block functionaries were present. The visiting delegations discussed a range of issues concerning the people and the party with the Party leadership. They also apprised the leaders about the plethora of issues the people in their respective areas are facing on account of the administration’s failure to cope up with the snowfall aftermath.
